In the 1960s, the Catfish King restaurant had several locations and here are a couple 1964 ads for the eatery.  On top is an incredible ad for their Cheshire Bridge Road store showing Big Jim, identified as the largest man in the world and a Ringling circus employee.  As you can see, Jim is in the process of chowing down on a piece of what appears to be fried chicken.  It sure seems like he got his money's worth ($1.25 for an all you can eat meal) as he put away 8 pounds of catfish, 4 pounds of chicken, 4 pounds of potatoes, 72 hush puppies, 3 pots of coffee, 2 quarts of sweet milk, an apple pie and 1 quart of tea.   And below that is an ad for their Moreland Avenue location.
