This 1967 photo shows the fantastic sign for the Atlanta Cabana Motel, located at the southwest corner of Peachtree and Seventh Streets from 1958 until 2002.    To check out an oversized postcard of this flashy and modernistic building, go here.   The spot where the Atlanta Cabana formerly stood is now occupied by a 28-floor condo tower known as Spire.Midtown.  In the background is a 1952 former Department of Agriculture building that is now known as the Peachtree Lofts.
