The (former) Hopkins Motel still exists and can be found alongside I-75 at 2865 Old Hapeville Road, though the motel seems to have been closed for quite some time now. The building on the far left in the postcard photo is gone, but the rest of the property looks like its in very good shape.  According to numerous mentions on the internet, the motel's final incarnation may have been as the Palace Inn and the faded and derelict remnants of a nearby billboard, in the parking lot of the Piggly Wiggly and former K-Mart on Cleveland Avenue, looks like it once advertised for the Palace.  The property now serves as space that can be leased by artists (see below for Artisan Studios sign). As for the "Flea Market Open Daily 10AM - 6PM" portion of the sign, that's a head-scratcher.    Google map
