Sears Building at 675 Ponce de Leon Avenue NE.  This is the view from the backside of the building (on North Avenue).

Date:  1949

The Sears Building, built in 1926, served as a warehouse facility as well as a retail store for Sears and Roebuck for decades.  The City of Atlanta opened government offices here in the late 1980's and the building became known as City Hall East.

The building has been sold to a developer and will converted to residential, office and retail space.  Details, from an Atlanta Journal Constitution article, are here.
