Atlanta City Hall, at 68 Mitchell Street SW. This building was designed by noted Atlanta architect G. Lloyd Preacher and was completed in 1930.
Preacher was also the architect responsible for the design of the Winecoff Hotel, the Henry Grady Hotel, the Medical Arts Building and Bass High School in Little Five Points.
It was the 4th City Hall in Atlanta's history. In 1989, the bulk of the City Hall offices moved to an annex on Trinity Street and others relocated to the former Sears Building on Ponce de Leon Avenue NE, which became known as City Hall East.
This building is now used as meeting space for many public meeting and it also serves as the Council Chambers for City Hall.
