This early 1970s postcard, promoting the Conditioned Air Engineers company, provides us with a wonderful sweeping view of the downtown skyline from a location near the Civic Center.  I don't have a precise date for when the photo was taken, but the Coastal States building, visible to the immediate right of the blue-domed Polaris restuarant atop the Hyatt Regency House hotel, was completed in 1971.  Also worth pointing out is that St. Joseph's hospital was still standing on Courtland Street, before its 1978 move to a Peachtree-Dunwoody Road location.
