This view of the Peachtree Center complex looks to the west.  This particular portion of the massive John Portman project was completed in 1965, so the photo was taken sometime after that.  The street running vertically down the left side of this photo is Cain Street (now known as Andrew Young International Boulevard).  One of the most interesting things about the composition of this photo is that it affords a great view of the long gone small and mostly industrial buildings that were spread around the area that borders the east side of what is now Centennial Olympic Park.  This picture comes to us courtesy of Tom Zarilli.  Thumbnails of many more aerial view postcards can be found here.            Ggogle map
