Here's a nice mid-1920s aerial view postcard showing the new Spring Street viaduct, the elevated roadway that permitted automobile traffic to pass above the sprawling rail yards that dominated downtown Atlanta in the early part of the  last century.  The Spring Street viaduct was completed in 1923.  Thumbnails of many more aerial view postcards can be found here.
