Back in the early 1970s when the original incarnation of Underground Atlanta was the talk of the town, the area included a wax museum which is the subject of the tourist brochure seen below.   The entrance to the museum can be seen on this postcard.

Judging by the pamphlet, the museum had something for almost everyone.  Wax figures on display included Confederate generals, civil rights heroes, religious figures, famous monsters, political leaders, movie stars, musical legends and European royalty.    Google map
