Governor's Mansion - 205 The Prado NE

This postcard, mailed in July 1960, shows the former Governor's Mansion. The house, which was unfortunately demolished in 1968, was in Ansley Park at 205 The Prado NE. The official opening date for the new Governor's Mansion on West Paces Ferry Road was January 1, 1968 and Lester Maddox was its first occupant. Google map
