Here's a pretty damn scarce Jimmy Lewallen 45rpm release on a small Marietta label called Electric - not, of course, to be confused with the nationally prominent Elektra label.  But Jimmy's record is undeservedly obscure, so I am sharing both sides of this forgotten local effort so that wherever he is today, his neighbors might regard him with a little more respect than before.

First up is his sly reshuffle of the Newbeats' big 1964 hit Bread And Butter, though Jimmy reconfigured it somewhat to feature mildly raunchy lyrics dealing with the life of a boozehound.  And on the flip, Jimmy serves up a good rockin' take on the Little Walter standard My Babe.
