Peachtree Station, 1688 Peachtree Street. After Terminal Station closed in 1971, Peachtree Station became (and remains) the only interstate passenger train station in Atlanta. Today, it serves as a daily stop for Amtrak's Crescent line, which runs between New York City and New Orleans. Google map

Originally opened in 1908, the station was designed by architect Neel Reid (1885 - 1926), who went on to become the best-known residential architect in the city. He also designed the Reid House at 1325 Peachtree Street, which still stands.
