This 1954 photo shows the view looking south along Peachtree Street toward 12th Street.  As you can see, the entire area has undergone a complete transformation and none of the buildings in the 1954 photo still stand, with a few possible exceptions that are barely visible in the picture down around 7th to 9th Streets, like the Peachtree Lofts building.  Twenty or so years after this photo was taken, the streetscape in this area remained largely unchanged, as you can see in this early 1970s photo by Dr. William A.
