Here are a few screen captures from the opening scene of Poor Pretty Eddie.  In the scene, Leslie Uggams is singing the national anthem before a football game, one that's never identified on the screen.  Despite the fact that the Red And Black reported that this footage was to be shot at the Georgia - Auburn game on 11/17 (1973), a close look shows that this is actually Atlanta Stadium, home of the Falcons, and not the Bulldogs' Sanford Stadium.

More evidence that this is Atlanta Stadium and not Sanford Field can be seen above:  look at angled "roof" just above the top of the seats.  That can be seen on the old Atlanta (Fulton County) Stadium, but Sanford Stadium has no such feature.  I know it's been heavily renovated since the movie was filmed but I'm pretty sure it never had such a semi-roof-life protrusion.

Sorry about the blurry screen shots, but the film print that was transferred to DVD (and available via Netflix) was pretty far from pristine.  Anyhow, if you look closely  you'll see that there is an Atlanta Falcons logo at the top of the red padding around the goal post.   And the letters (F-A-L-C-O-N-S) can be seen beneath the logo.
