Kroger Store at 527 Moreland Avenue, where Moreland meets Glenwood Avenue. Though this photo is undated, I would be willing to bet that it was taken about 1952. The fact that this extremely compact space once housed a Kroger store is astonishing. By contemporary standards this structure lacks adequate floor space to accommodate a convenience store, never mind a grocery store!
