Quik Trip, 1789 Lawrenceville Hwy.

The Quik Trip store at the corner of Lawrenceville Highway and DeKalb Industrial Way, opened for business circa late 1958, though I don't have an exact date. This store was opened by Chester Robinson and was unaffiliated with the Quik Trip company that today has an empire of almost 700 convenience stores across the country. By coincidence, the first Quik Trip in the national chain opened in Tulsa in 1958, almost exactly when Chester Robinson opened his store at 1789 Lawrenceville Highway.
