Here's a postcard sent in by reader  Marcia P.  This view looks to the north along Peachtree Street from the top of the Candler Building. 

Based on the cars visible on the street, it looks to me like this photo was likely taken in the mid 1950s. 

The former Winecoff Hotel (the big building in the middle of the photo) can be seen operating as the Peachtree On Peachtree Hotel, a business that spanned the years 1951 through 1967.
