Looking east from the roof of the Equitable Building

Here's another contribution from reader Roger O'Kelley. This photo, taken in April, 1984 shows the view looking east from the roof of the Equitable Building. Initially I didn't notice something that I find pretty amazing; there used to be a Boulevard bridge over Freedom Parkway. It's the second bridge in the photo below. Now it's a standard 4-way intersection.

The lower photo was taken by David Small and shows a nearly identical 2012 view. Instead of being taken from the roof, however, it was taken from the 26th floor of the same building.
