Seen below is a circa 1940 photograph showing the intersection of Edgewood Avenue and Exchange Place (now known as Hurt Plaza), a one-block long street that connected Edgewood with Ivy Street (now known as Peachtree Center Avenue).   Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see a close up of the marquee that promises a Derby Show featuring thrills, spills and chills.   Fittingly, this occurred right across the street from the Hurt Building, the entrance to which is visible on the left.
