The art deco-influenced Prior Tire service station stood at the southwest corner of Peachtree and Pine Streets, just a few dozen yards away from the front door of the Gypsy Room, a burlesque outpost that operated on Pine Street under several different names over the years.  The Prior Tire Company building seen here is long gone, replaced by a parking lot, as seen in the 2013 picture below.  If I have my bearings right, the postcard view looks southwest toward the corner of the building, while the updated photo looks to the northwest.    Google map
