C-5A on Grant Field

If you suspect that the image on this postcard reflects something other than reality, you're correct. Seen here is a postcard showing Grant Field on the Georgia Tech campus, as it would look with Lockheed's then-new C-5A Galaxy cargo airplane parked in its midst. The first C-5A airplane was manufactured in nearby Marietta and rolled off the line on March 2, 1968. Thanks to Bill Wolfe for fixing me up with this very rare postcard.
