6th Street looking west toward Peachtree Street, in the 1940s.  The large brick building on the left is the Peachtree Manor Hotel and behind it is the Biltmore Hotel.  Also worth pointing out is the small circular Sno-White Laundry building that sits at the NW corner of the intersection.  I don't think I've ever seen another photo of that.
