Atlanta's Sears & Roebuck building in a 1950 photo.  In the foreground is the Ponce de Leon Ballpark, home of the minor league Atlanta Crackers.  For a time, this was also home to the Atlanta Black Crackers, a Negro League baseball team.

Author Tim Darnell has written a book detailing the history of the Atlanta Crackers.  He has an informative Atlanta Crackers website, too.
