This photo, taken in the fall of 1967 from the roof of the brand-new Physics Building on the Georgia Tech campus, shows the view looking south and east toward the heart of downtown.  Over on the right, we can see the just-completed First National Bank building on the south side of Five Points and a bit to its left we see the 1961 Bank Of Georgia building.  And the building that's under construction is the Equitable Building, which was completed in 1968.

This photo was taken by Georgia Tech physics professor Edward W. Thomas, and appears here courtesy of Graham Thomas, his son.
