Looking south from 10th St. 1971

Here's an excellent 1971 photo looking south from the 10th Street bridge over the Downtown Connector (I-75 / 85). On the right is the gymnasium from (the former) O'Keefe High School, which closed in 1973 if I'm not mistaken and I might be. In any event, this seems like the right time to point out that music legend Jerry Reed attended O'Keefe. Scroll down to see a 1976 picture showing the south side of the gym, courtesy of the Ga. Tech Capital Planning & Space Management folks. The building is now part of the Georgia Tech campus.
