Clairmont Road - Big Apple grocery store

This 1960 photo shows the Big Apple grocery store opening in the shopping center at the corner of Briarcliff and Clairmont Roads. The center still stands, though about half of it was torn down not too long ago to clear the way for the Quik Trip gas station/convenience store visible in the lower photo. By the way, can we penalize them for that dopey spelling? Google map
