Here's something of an oddity, a painting (rather than a photograph) of the Henry Grady Hotel, which had already been standing for approximately three dozen years when this postcard was released.  Artist's conception postcards usually got issued before a proposed project had been fully realized, but for whatever reason the decision was made to put this card out featuring a painted image, complete with late 1950s automobiles cruising down Peachtree and Cain Streets.  The Grady Hotel was completed in 1924 and demolished in 1972 to make way for the Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel.     Google map
